Paradise awaits. The dress, the flowers, the photo shoot – it was like a passage from a fairy tale.
But it wasn’t paradise.
The planning was hard. Who would be taking us to the venue? What time was our photo shoot going to be? Where would we get our corsages and boutonnieres? There were so many questions, and so little time. I frantically asked people if they could take pictures for our group, ran to different bridal stores to find flowers, desperately asked friends for a ride to Dana Point.
At the end of the day, all I wanted to do was, not go to Homecoming, but go home.
