I write because writing allows me to freely express myself when my individuality is masked by what society dictates. I write to purge my emotions. I write as a catharsis of the thoughts that incarcerate me to the scripture of the intangible. I write to discover the lush textures, stunning sights, and nuanced complexities the world has to offer. I write so that I may see in color – not in black and white. I write so that I may notice detail. I write so that I may see the bigger picture. I write so that I am not blinded by rose-tinted glasses. I write because I love to write.
