We never appreciate what we have until it’s gone.
We know that life is timed – a clock that, after a while, stops ticking. But yet, we persist to believe that that time the clock stops working will come much later. We don’t even remember the experiences – the times we’ve shared with others.
We familiarize ourselves with the concept of goodbyes, but we never really know how to deal with them when they come. Life is life, and death is death. There are no shades of gray – just black and white.
